11 day old baby Z

Baby Z and her parents came in the studio this morning for a newborn session. This little lady came in ready to party with her awesome Ham hat...yep a hat that looks like Ham. I regret I don't have a photo but it was awesome! This level of coolness could only mean that mom and dad were cool too!I was right!

After a good feed Z was still suspicious and wanted to check out the scene. I got a couple sweet eyes open shots and then rocked her to sleep.

Mom and dad are both children's illustrators (how cool is that?) so they were the perfect family for a little whimsy.

Inspired by their love of Hawaii (Z spent 2 weeks of her gestation there), we set up this beach set up. Z was so relaxed she did a nice poo in the shell.

Another good feed and Z was ready for the bean bag. She really wanted to stay awake but she fell for my tricks and was out like a light in no time.
