Holly and James are married!

I met with Holly and her mom Lisa back in January to sign a contract for James and Holly's wedding day! We met for a quick meeting and it turned into shooting the breeze for a couple hours! I just loved this family and was so excited they chose me for the most important day of their lives.

James and Holly got married on 5/22/16 at High fields Country Club in Grafton, Ma. I met Holly early in the afternoon to start documenting her getting ready.

Her mother, sister and future sister in law were there with her as she got her hair and make up done by the fabulous Alanna Levins and stepped into her beautiful dress.

We posed for some bridal portraits and a quick first look with dad and then it was off to the church to seal the deal.

Holly and James exchanged vows at St. Mary's church in Uxbridge, MA in front of close friends and family.

After a beautiful ceremony it was time for some quick family photos and then back to high fields for formal portraits.

High fields is situated on a golf course and although beautiful, had VERY limited space allowed for photos (I'm talking a strip of grass in front of a mulch pile and thats about it). I love a challenge because it forces me to step out of the box and get a little creative. Thanks to my amazing second shooter, Shayna from Shayna Lee Photography, and the magic of photoshop we were able to pull off some GORGEOUS formals.

The party was about to start! My favorite DJ's Mike and Michael from Foley Custom Entertainment introduced the wedding party and the first dance.

As the salad was hitting the table the sun was setting in a spectacular way. We took James and Holly out on the deck for some quick sunset portraits. I'm glad we were able to get them in before the coordinator whisked them away to cut the cake!

The reception was so much fun and at times, very emotional. Parent dances, a memorial dance for Holly's brother Chad and a garter/bouquet toss. The most epic part was the whole dance floor singing and acting out "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".
