3 week old O, the boy who wouldn't sleep

Little O and his parents were in the new studio this morning for O's newborn session. O was sound asleep when he arrived and cute as can be!

Dad got him out of his carseat and got him ready for his session. O must have sensed we were up to something...he woke up and that was that.

They don't call me the baby whisperer for nothing. I have lots of sleepy baby tricks up my sleeve so I wasn't too worried. He couldn't stay awake for ever...right? After a good feed and lots of rocking I finally got little guy sleepy enough for a bucket shot. About 2 minutes in, eye open and mr. O is awake and looking to party.

I decided wrapping him up for some eyes open shots was the best way to try and get this party animal back to sleep. Lucky for us he has great eye contact and is stinking adorable!

We Tried it all, little guy showed no signs of going back to sleep. I wrapped him again and decided on a few more awake shots on the bean bag.

3.5 hours in and this guy is going strong. I decided to try one more feeding and with in seconds of latching on O started to close his eyes! You would never know from the pictures below that this little guy was such a fighter! Finally in the last half hour he slept heavy enough for some posed newborn shots!

I attempted to do the froggy pose and O's eyes popped open and he was once again ready to party. Mom and dad wanted a couple of family shots so we headed out back for those! Such a beautiful family.
