8 week old baby R

Baby R an her mom we in the studio this morning for her newborn-(ish) session. Most of you know my newborns are usually under 2 weeks old but having done a few "older" newborn sessions, I was confident I could get the look with an 8 week old.

Miss R was amazing! She slept when I needed her to and fell for all my usual tricks. It helped that she was also pretty tiny.

Mom is a big fan of simple, muted, light colors so I tried to stay in that range. I deviated to my dark side a bit with the christmas set and the drawer set. Mom also brought lots of adorable props to use!

I loved getting to spend time with this little one today and mom was AWESOME (Carla you were right).
