Lauren's maternity session

Last night I had the honor of shooting my dear cousin's maternity session.

This is an extra special maternity, not because she is my cousin, but because of their 4 year, very painful struggle with infertility.

Since they were married, Lauren and Alfredo were trying to get pregnant. After a long hard year they finally sought the help of fertility specialists. After numerous tests and procedures they still struggled to get pregnant on their own. They were finally approved for IVF. Lauren and Alfredo had their first transfer in February. I'm happy to say it worked, meet (almost) baby Isabella.

Words cannot describe how truly happy for the both of them I am. I cannot wait to snuggle her up once she is born.
