Chase's one year session!

Chase came in the studio this morning for his one year session and cake smash! A lot of times one year sessions can be a little tough in terms of keeping the baby interested, happy and still. I always tell the moms they are in for a work out during the session because one year olds are FAST.
I am happy to say that Chase was pretty awesome on all fronts! He sat so well, smiled like crazy and only made mom chase (no pun!) him a little bit!
We started with a vintage suitcase and some teddy bears. He loved the bunny the most!
We swapped out all of those props for a bunch of old baseballs. Guess what? He loved that too!
Next we did some nakie poses and then the fish bowl! He splashed like crazy. At this point I knew the cake was going to be a lot of fun!
We did a couple more poses with Chase standing and in the wash tub with bubbles we were ready for cake!
Chase's mom chose a Sesame Street themed cake smash set up. Chase got really excited about the banner and the puffs.
Once he sat down with the cake it was game on! He got to work eating and squishing the cake all up. As you can see he really enjoyed it!
