6 day old baby Phoenix

Nothing is more awesome than shooting a couples wedding and then getting to photograph their first born! Mom and dad were married a couple of years back at the Salem Cross Inn and it's still one of my favorite weddings! Today I had baby Phoenix in the studio for his newborn session.

With a name like Phoenix I felt like i needed to do dome sort of set up to reflect the Phoenix story but, obviously, with out involving actual or photoshopped fire. This is what I came up with and I really like how it turned out!

Phoenix did amazing through all of the set changes!

He rocked the bean bag too! I love the pop of color the wraps can give to a neutral blanket!

Mr. P was starting to wake towards the end of the session which allowed for this GEM! how funny is this expression...an old man with a british accent comes to mind!

Ugh he is just too stinking cute!!
