Declan's 6 month session

Baby Plan member Declan completed his 6 month milestone session this morning! Declan rocked his newborn session, was a little grumpy (teeth coming in) for his 3 month and was all smiles for this six month!

We started with a couple family shots out back. If you've been to the studio you know we are in a strip mall. Behind the building looks pretty much like every strip malls back side...dirt, weeds, and dumpsters. The thing I love about photography is if you choose the right lens, the right angle and the right editing you can really make anywhere look beautiful. Check out what we were working with and what we got!

My go to set up for all six month sessions is this classic white drape in the white bowl. Declan did great and was very expressive!

The under the towel shot is also a great timeless set up! Now that Declan is much happier with tummy time we got some really sweet shots.

Mom brought this adorable jumper and it reminded me of a safari theme so we used the map to pull the idea together in a simple way. Look at this little guy hitting the 6 month milestones of sitting up and holding his feet!

we tried to squeeze one last set up out of little Declan. He was ready for a nap but I got a couple quick smiles! He's such a handsome guy! Enjoy your sneak peeks!
