6 week old Twin girls, the most precious thing you've seen all day...promise!

Last week I had 1 newborn on the books for this week. By this past Sunday I had 3 scheduled in, the last one...TWINS! Twins are always exciting and a little scary. Sometimes on newborn is tricky, two can up the ante, two that are 6 weeks old...I was sure I'd have my work cut out for me, but I was confident I could do it.

Thankfully, Jen (the photographer I lease space from) was able to assist me. we make a pretty awesome team!

Mom and Grandma came in for the session with these two beauties. Baby I (with the awesome hair) was checking the place out and Baby H (who has the most beautiful eyes) was sound asleep. After a quick chat with mom we got the girls out and decided to give Baby I a bottle to help her get ready to sleep. As she drifted to sleep Baby H woke up ready to party. Mom said they were on different schedules (as in opposite). My confidence dropped a little. We posed Baby I while mom fed and Jen rocked Baby H. We managed to get Baby H asleep enough to get some single shots too.

We set up a basket for snuggle shots. Baby H and Baby I were carefully placed in the basket, carefully posed and gently soothed and then magic happened....

The rest of the session was smooth as butter. The girls slept and posed like they were 7 days old. I love what we were able to capture! They rocked it! Big enormous thanks to Jen, I could not have done this without your help! Here's a few more sneak peeks:
