Yesterday I had the honor of photographing Hector and Lauren's beautiful wedding at TPC Boston in Norton. If you aren't familiar with this course it's kind of a big deal. I know zero about golf. Zero. So I knew Zero about this venue. They host about 4 weddings a year so shooting a wedding here is pretty rare.
TPC Boston is located about 1/2 mile from the Xfinity center. It happens that Kieth Urban was playing and gates opened right at the time i was supposed to arrive. If you know anything about the Xfinity center you know concerts equal traffic, so with that I left and hour earlier than I needed too. Well, turns out Keith Urban (did I mention I know ZERO about country music) didn't draw a lot of traffic, so I arrived an hour early as well as my second shooter BJ.
Getting there early gave us a good chance to draw out a game plan (I don't really do game plans but we had some time), scope out some good spots for formals (there were so many!) and have a quick drink(malibu with orange and pineapple please).

It was time to get to business! I met Lauren down stairs in the ladies locker room with her MOH Sarah, her mother Caroline and her Nana. BJ met Hector and his best man, Eric int he men's locker room. All Lauren had left to do was to put on her beautiful dress.

We decided in our last consultation that Lauren wanted to do a first look with her Nana. So after Lauren put on her dress we had Nana come in to see her. I think Nana approved <3

The big moment was here. Hector waited nervously at the alter with his best man. As soon as the music began Hector got choked up. I love to see an emotional groom. Not only is it the best for us photographers but it shows a deep love and emotional connection.

The ceremony was beautiful. You could really feel how much love they have for each other.

After the ceremony we did some quick family photos and then we snuck off for some formals. I have to say this is probably my favorite set of formals to date! A combination of beautiful scenery, a gorgeous couple with great chemistry and fun props made them unique.

The reception was awesome as well! Hector and Lauren danced their first dance to "thinking out loud". Eric gave a quick toast and then every one enjoyed a DELICIOUS dinner! Mr. and Mrs. Martinez cut a yummy cake from Wrights Dairy Farm and had an amazing desert table.

We snuck the bride and groom away for one last set of photos outside and in the stairwell. So glad we did!

Big thank you to BJ for being the best second shooter!
